City Engineer Olson explained that parcel E was necessary to provide the water loop to T & G <br />Land. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak requested information regarding the Danny's Tranny site and conditional <br />use permit. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen noted that there was previous direction given to staff to provide the <br />Council with a copy of the existing conditional use permit and any outstanding issues, observed <br />violations, or complaints regarding the property. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, <br />Gatewood North Industrial Park No. 5, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that on December 19, 2000, the Council approved a TIF <br />Agreement with T & G Land, Inc., a Minnesota Corporation, whose President is Tom Sauter. <br />The TIF Agreement requires the transfer of an approximate 18-acre parcel of land acquired as <br />part of the Makens condemnation to T & G Land, Inc. The majority of the Makens property <br />comprising GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK NO. 5 has now been platted into four <br />lots. Lots 1 and 2, Block l, comprise the 18 acres to be transferred to T & G Land, Inc. Fee title <br />to Lot 1 is to be conveyed to T & G Land, Inc. now and the City is granting an option to buy Lot <br />2, Block 1 to T & G Land, Inc. for future transfer upon certain terms and conditions. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to adopt <br />Ordinance #01-09 authorizing the sale of Lots 1 and 2, Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Councilmember Hendriksen aye <br />Councilmember Anderson aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution Approving Appraisal for Acquisition of 153ra/155th Right of <br />Way <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the City Council by Resolution #00-10-266 authorized the <br />commencement of an eminent domain action for acquisition of Right-of-Way from Reginald <br />Vasseur, owner ora parcel necessary for the construction of the 155th Avenue NW extension.
