Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-252 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE ITEMS AT <br />5344 142nd CIRCLE NW <br />RECITALS <br />1. The City of Ramsey currently has an open code enforcement case on the property legally <br />generally known as 5344 142nd Circle NW and legally described as Lot 22, Block 2, Flintwood <br />Hills 2nd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property") . <br />2. The City received a complaint about the rear yard of the Subject Property in regards to a large <br />pile of firewood, tree branches, other debris, and general nuisance items in the rear yard. <br />3. The City sent four notices of violation and three citations to the Subject Property related to a <br />large pile of tree branches, a disorganized pile of wood, and other natural debris piled near the <br />fence line of the Subject Property. <br />4. The large pile of wood and tree branches is a violation of the International Property <br />Maintenance Code and Chapter 30 of the City Code. <br />5. The Property Owner has spoken with the City and indicated the pile would be removed in <br />September 2020. As of October 20, 2020, the pile still remains. <br />6. The City of Ramsey City Council reviewed the request on October 27, 2020. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />1. The City inspected the property on: <br />a. September 1, 2020 <br />b. September 22, 2020 <br />c. October 9, 2020 <br />d. October 20, 2020. <br />2. The City sent formal notices via US Mail on: <br />a. August 12, 2020 <br />b. September 1, 2020 <br />c.
