Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to direct City staff to modify <br />Item #6 in the Development Agreement for River Pines 3rd Addition to establish a deadline of <br />November 30, 2001, to complete the installation of the Stage I Improvements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, Kurak, <br />and Zimmennan. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: Adopt Ordinance to Repeal Size Limits on Attached Garages <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that in 1999, City Code regulations regarding <br />garages and accessory buildings were amended. One of the changes consisted of establishing a <br />size restriction of 1,000 square feet on attached garages. The Building Official subsequently <br />reported that the new rule was not workable nor necessary. On April 11, 2000, the City Council <br />introduced an ordinance to repeal the 1,000 square foot size restriction on attached garages. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt <br />Ordinance #01-11 to amend Chapter 9 (Zoning and Subdivision of Land) to eliminate size <br />restrictions on attached garages. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen aye <br />Councilmember Anderson aye <br />Councilmember Kurak aye <br />Councilrnember Zimmerman aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #11: <br /> <br />Authorize the Sale of Outlot A Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the City is negotiating a land exchange agreement with Tiller <br />Corporation. The purpose of the transaction is for the City to acquire necessary fight-of-way for <br />the extension of 141st Avenue NW and to acquire an additional triangle parcel to add to the <br />City's Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision No. 31 which Lot 1 the City acquired from the Makens <br />transaction. In order to complete this transaction the sale ordinance needs to be introduced and <br />adopted for the sale by the City of said Outlot A.
