Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to adopt Resolution #01-04~194 receiving bids and awarding contract for Improvement Project #00-35 to Erickson Construction, contingent upon City Attorney review. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Zimmerman, Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Case #15: Report from Public Works Committee Councilmember Zimmerman stated that the Public Works Committee met on April 17, 2001 and discussed the following cases: 1) Summary for 2000-2001 Snow Removal Season-No action required/taken. 2) Distribution of Wooden Lathes to Residents and Prohibiting the Placement of Metal Poles during Snowplow Season - Recommendation of the Public Works Committee was to develop a draft policy and forward it to the City Attorney for review. 3) Winter Trail Maintenance - Recommendation of the Public Works Committee was to forward the issue of dog waste on to the Park and Recreation Commission. 4) Relocating Mailboxes in Cul-de-sacs -Recommendation of the Public works Committee was to develop a draft policy and forward it to the City Attorney for review. 5) Special Requests for Snowplowing on Private Roads - No action taken. Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to ratify the recommendations of the Personnel Committee for Cases 1 through 5. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hendriksen, Anderson, and Kurak. Voting No: None. MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT 1) Schedule Work Session A work session was scheduled for April 30th at 5:30 p.m. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adjourn the meeting.
