[{e fidls way under that traffic concern. Community Development Director Trudgeon <br />explained the concern is regarding the maneuvering to get onto the property. In six months staff <br />will ~'eport if the situation is to their satisfaction. Councilmember Olson noted the picture <br />included in the Council's packet shows six vehicles on the site, and it does not look possible to <br />get any other vehicles in there for any type of delivery. Mr. Guzzo replied those pictures were <br />taken during the Gander Mountain project. He is not saying he will not have another project like <br />that again, but that was when he was not aware of all the concerns, and he has cleaned things up. <br />!lc has already taken, steps, other than putting in the tar that he wants to propose for the turn <br />aromqcl, which he has not done based on where this will all stand. Councilmember Jeffrey <br />(~ncouraged Mr. Guzzo to revisit the concerns of the neighborhood. He stated being part of that <br />neighborhood, living and working there, and being sensitive to the neighbors' concerns are <br />critical. There were some valid concerns. Mr. Guzzo replied he had a conversation after the <br />meeting with one of the neighbors that spoke. She is okay with things now, she just wanted a <br />tree in a couple of places. He indicated it would behoove Mr. Guzzo to come up with a good <br />presentation and plan for his business to present at the next Council meeting. He commented six <br />months is not a long time to make the needed improvements. Mr. Guzzo should look at growing <br />and relocating in the future. Mr. Guzzo stated he would like to stay in Ramsey when the <br />business is relocated. Councilmember Pearson asked Mr. Guzzo if trucks will be able to get in <br />amd out t>l:' the site without creating traffic problems with the plan he has drafted. Mr. Guzzo <br />rc~;pondcd in the affirmative. Councilmember -Elvig. stated he knows Mr. Guzzo from youth <br />programs, and knows what Mr. Guzzo says can be believed. He appreciates the approach of staff <br />atnd the Council to try to make this happen.
