<br />Case #3: Order 2005 Street Maintenance Program
<br />
<br />City Engineer Jankowski stated the public heating for the 2005 Street Maintenance Program was
<br />held on March 8, 2005. The 2005 Street Maintenance Program consists of five projects, which
<br />include cracksealing and seatcoating of City streets and three projects that involve a one and one-
<br />half inch bituminous overlay of City streets. He explained Project 05-01 consists of the first
<br />sealcoating following construction of the street and will be financed through a developer escrow
<br />provided for this purpose. All of the remaining projects will be financed-through special
<br />assessment of half of the project cost with the remaining half from the general fund, Bids will be
<br />scheduled for June 8, 2005 and will be considered at the June i4, 2005 Council meeting. He
<br />advised staff recommends that the Council accept plans and specifications and authorize
<br />solicitation of bids for the 2005 Pavement Maintenance Program.
