WHEREAS, the comprehensive plan amendment request meets the criteria established in the <br />Interim Policy for Proposed Land Use Changes adopted by the Ramsey City Council on April 26, <br />2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on June 2, 2005, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the Property Owner's request for <br />an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change of <br /> the Subject Property from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to 'submit the necessary <br />documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan to <br />change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br />3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of notification <br /> of approval from Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion, for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> ., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the <br /> nd day of June, 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-06- <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
