<br />5.The City corresponded with the applicant via email on: <br /> <br />a.September 17, 2020 where the applicant provided the City with a proposed area of legal, <br />nonconforming use from the previous tenant. <br /> <br />b.October 19, 2020 and October 20, 2020 notifying the Property Owner of abatement of <br />nuisance items only, no vehicles or equipment. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the Ramsey City Council approves the following related to the code enforcement case: <br /> <br />a.Staff will reinspect the property on or near November 2, 2020 to determine if abatement <br />is still necessary. <br /> <br />b.Staff will schedule an abatement with abatement contractor on or near November 3, <br />2020. <br /> <br />c.The Property Owner will be charged for the abatement plus administrative costs. <br /> <br />d.City Staff has the authorization to escalate future fines for the Subject Property starting at <br />$250 for the same violation within one (1) year. <br /> <br />e.City Staff will bring back a Resolution related to the lawful, non-conforming use of the <br />Subject Property by the end of November 2020. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Specht, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />And the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 20-251 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />
