Thc Staff Update was noted. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brauer indicated he likes the interim policy on comprehensive plan amendments; <br />ii: is what he has been pushing to have, and he thinks it meets a lot of the concerns he has voiced. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy agreed, stating it leaves little question on the direction the City Council <br />wants to take on development. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated there was concern that the Planning Commission was undertaking policy <br />~;onsiderations that were outside their scope of responsibility, and this does help guide that, but <br />hc still has concerns that they need to move quickly with a Comprehensive Plan Amendment, <br />and need to be cautious how they proceed in the interim. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson stated he believes the Metropolitan Council advice they received was <br />that they need to take these on a one-by-one basis until the City has a new Comprehensive Plan <br />doiic, <br /> <br />Case #11 Zoning Bulletin <br /> <br />ri he Zoning Bulletin was noted. <br /> <br />OTHER COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />[X4otion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to adjoum the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
