Case #2: Request for Site Plan Review; Case of Martin EDM <br /> <br />Associate l'lanner Wald advised that Shawn Martin of Martin EDM has applied for site plan <br />review lot the development of an office/manufacturing facility on the property located south of <br />i41~t /\ye,ut and west of Azurite Street. She stated the site plan is proposing to construct a <br />I 0,0(}0 square tbot office/manufacturing facility. She stated the site plan is meeting or exceeding <br />rt!l required setbacks. She indicated lot coverage has been calculated at 17%, and the facility will <br />derive access from Azurite Street. She stated the proposed exterior building materials will <br />consist o1' rock lace concrete block. <br /> <br />/\ssociat~ Plmmer Wald indicated City Staff recommends site plan approval contingent upon <br />{:om pl b.,acc with City Staff Review Letter dated April 29, 2005. <br /> <br />(ommissioncr Brauer noted that the Staff review letter proposes adding more landscaping, and <br />a>;kcd il' thc applicant agreed. <br /> <br />Mr, Mariit~ stated if there is room for more trees they can add them. <br /> <br />Mellon by Assistant Chairperson Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Levine, to recommend <br />that thc City Council grant approval of the proposed site plan contingent upon compliance with <br />('ils' .qta['[' Review Letter dated April 29, 2005. <br /> <br /> Carried. Voting Yes: Assistant Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Levine, Brauer, <br />."4hcphc~rd, and Van Scoy Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt, and Commissioner <br /> <br />('hairperson Nixt arrived at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br />(:ase #3: <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Review; Case of Sharp & Associates <br /> <br />Associate l'lanner Wald advised that Sharp and Associates has applied for site plan review for an <br />,zxpan.si()~ to RJM/General Paper Products existing facility. She stated RJM is currently located <br /> thc i~2crsection of 143'''~ Avenue and County Road #116. Associate Planner Wald further <br />aclviscd tl~c site plan is proposing to construct a 34,368 square foot office and warehouse <br />[td(lition. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald indicated the site plan is subject to a total of 95 parking stalls and only <br />~-,'8 stalls; arc being provided. She indicated she had a conversation with RJM and they said they <br />did not utilize all their parking spaces now. Staff would support not requiring striping the 7 <br />;tdditiorml stalls.
