Trails can foster community well- <br />being by facilitating interaction <br />bet~veen trail users when meeting <br />each other on a trail. Trails provide a <br />convenient and safe way for people <br />to exercise while having fun. Trails <br />can indeed help to develop a sense <br />of place. <br /> <br />3. Trails are linear parks which can <br />protect natural resources, protect <br />habitat and natural migration routes <br />for ~vildhfe, provide residential green <br />space and provide buffers bet~veen <br />homes. Those that live by the traJ2 feel <br />a sense of ownership in protecting <br />the environmental integrity of the <br />area around the trail.
