The deck shall have a pitch of at <br />least one-tburth (1/4') inch to the toot, designed so as to prevent back <br />drainage into the pool. If deck drains are provided, drain pipe lines <br />shall be at least two (2) inches in diameter: drain openings shall have <br />an open area of at least four (4) times the cross-sectional area of the <br />drain pipe. Deck drains shall not be com~ected to the re-circulation <br /> <br />system pipe. <br /> <br />Swimming Pool Drainage. To the extent feasible, back flush water or <br />water from pool drainage shall be on the owner's property or into <br />approved public drainage ways. Water shall not drain onto adiacent or <br />nearby private land. <br /> <br />mr. Lighting. IJghts used in conjunction with a swimming pool and/or <br /> spa shall be located and constructed 'so as to deflect away fi'om <br /> <br />adjacent property and in such a mmmer that they do not create a-- <br /> <br />nuisance or affect the reasonable use and enjoyment of adjacent <br />property. <br /> <br />g. Permits. <br /> <br />Swimming pools or spas that are less than 5,000 ~allons shall be <br />allowed without the issuance of a building permit: however, a <br />zoning permit must be obtained ptqor to the swimming pool or spa <br />bein~ constructed, installed, or moved onto a property. <br /> <br />Swimming pools or spas that are 5,000 gallons or larger shall <br />?equire a building permit as outlined in Section 8.21 (Swin~ming <br />Pool and Spa Permit). <br /> <br />Subd. 4. Accessory Buildings. <br /> <br />__Any proposed accessory building should be located on the parcel of <br /> land so as to allow for orderly future re-subdivision of a parcel on <br /> which the building is to be located. <br /> <br />b.
