Cmmcilmember__ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-06-XXX RESOIJUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-27 (WELCOMES ROAD STREET GRADING AND PAVING) AND CALLING FOR THE PREPARATION OF I'I~ANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WIlE REAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted March 8, 2005, a Ibasibility study has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, for Improvement Project #05-27, Wclcome's Road Grading and Paving Improvements; and, WIIEI*,EAS, a rcsolution of City Council adopted on March 8, 2005 fixed a date for a Council hearing on thc proposed improvement; and WtlEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the public hearing was held thereon on the 12th day of April, 2005, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW TiiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility study report. 2) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this council resolution. 3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. 4) That the engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ..... and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and thc following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and thc lbllowing were absent: where upon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of June 2005.
