City Attorney Goodrich replied that the appraisal was completed in the fall of 2000. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt Resolution <br />#01-05-214 authorizing the acquisition by eminent domain of certain property in the Southwest <br />Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 32, Range 25, for construction of Well <br />house No. 3 and associated facilities including access to the well site, direct City Administrator <br />to negotiate acquisition and to use eminent domain only if negotiations fail. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Kurak, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #11: <br /> <br />Resolution Awarding Bid for Improvement Project #01-17, Water Tower No. <br />Connecting Main <br /> <br />City Engineer Olson stated that Water Tower No. 2 is nearing completion. Painting has begun <br />on the structure and is anticipated to be complete by the June 18, 2001 contact completion date. <br />In order to make the water tower serviceable, a watermain connection needs to be completed <br />between the water tower and the main on Sunwood Drive NW. This project provides for that <br />connection and also for the paving of a driveway from Sunwood Drive into the base of the tower, <br />which will be used for off-season equipment storage. The project also solicits an alternate bid <br />for the installation of bituminous trail through this site west of Ramsey Boulevard. Bids were <br />opened on Monday, May 21, 2001 and the following two bids were received: <br /> <br />Bidder <br />W.B.
