Presentation <br /> <br />Police Chief Gustafson stated that Thor Heinen and Tracy Tierney, d/b/a T&T Liquors, have <br />properly applied for an off-sale intoxicating liquor license at 6415 Highway #10 NW, Suite 108, <br />Ramsey. Staff has not yet received the certificate of insurance, however, staff has been assured <br />that the insurance will be purchased as soon as the applicant has received approval from the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, Kurak, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to approve an off-sale liquor <br />license application to be issued at 6415 Highway #10 for Thor Heinen and Tracy Tierney, d/b/a <br />T&T Liquors, contingent upon receiving insurance and tax information. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Consideration of Requests for Comprehensive Plan Amendments <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the Council could choose to adopt the March 2001 <br />Comprehensive Plan and then continue with the amendments as proposed and accomplish four of <br />the six Comprehensive Amendments. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that earlier in the year there was action to change language in <br />the March 2001 draft to include certain verbiage stating that the Central Planning Area would be <br />changed to Central Rural Preserve. He questioned what the status of that language change was. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that the Council would proceed with the language change as <br />part of the amendment process. At this time the City has been requested to complete the <br /> <br />City Council/December 11, 2001 <br /> Page 5 of 25 <br /> <br /> <br />
