(iouncihncmbcr introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #05-28-XXX <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING IN A CONTRACT WITH S&P <br />CONSTRUCTION OF ST. PAUL, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,877, FOR REPAIRS <br />TO FIRE STATION No. 1 AND THE REPLACEMENT OF THE MAIN FRONT DOOR. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Station No. 1 sustained damage on February 21, 2005 and a claim <br />has been filed with the City's insurer LMC-IT; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS thc main front door is recommended to be replaced with a model that allows <br />proper locking and exiting; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that repairs in the amount of $29,758.75 are to be <br />t'undcd from thc city's insurance fund and the replacement of the main front door in the amount <br />of$8119 is to be fimded from the equipment replacement fund. <br /> <br />NOW TltEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That thc Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes to enter into a contract with S&P <br /> Construction of St. Paul, Inc. in the amount of $37,877 for repairs of damage sustained <br /> on February 21,2005 and the replacement of the main front door. <br /> <br />Thc motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by, and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, thc £ollowing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> and the following voted against: <br /> and the Following abstained: <br /> and thc following were absent: <br /> <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 28th day of June 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
