John Fegcs of Ramsey Town Center, LLC stated the mixture provides a variety of homes and <br />gives choices. The single-family homes that have been laid out are actually narrow lots. Ramsey <br />Town Center, LLC wanted to ensure a bit of transition for the neighbors to the north. There will <br />be smaller lots with attention paid to architectural standards. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey inquired about the challenge concerning the stormwater drainage pond in <br />the 8Ih Addition. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson replied this will be a significant challenge. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec indicated the developer will need to work with staff on these calculations. <br /> <br />Councihnember Cook commented the road system in the 9th Addition seems to be well thought <br />out. <br /> <br />Mt'. Fcges explained in the 9th Addition where the townhomes are abutting the park, it is <br />anticipated to complete a public trail connection on that side to make sure there is circulation and <br />movement through the park. <br /> <br />Councihnember Strommen requested in the future there be a review of the master plan with the <br />areas that are being planned. <br /> <br />Mr. Fegcs replied this is in the process of being worked on. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted the key to these plans is to work out the drainage issues. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler indicated the preliminary plat will go to the Planning Commission in <br />June. <br /> <br />3) Future Topic of Domestic Abuse in the City <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated the Alexandra House has made a funding request from the <br />City. The funding for the Alexandra House is under stress due to CDGB funding changes. He <br />requested direction if the Council would like a topic of domestic abuse issues in the City to come <br />forward. This topic would include information regarding the Alexandra House. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig noted the Five Year Goals address some of these issues. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was to direct staff to bring forward a topic of domestic abuse <br />issues in the City on a future agenda. <br /> <br />4) Fitness Center Architectural Firm Proposals <br /> <br />City Council Work Session/May 10, 2005 <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
