City Administrator Norman indicated the City received two proposals from architectural firms on
the fitness center in Town Center. One of the proposals is from the group that has been working
with Minneapolis with their station area planning in Twinsville. He noted this fitness center will
tie uniquely into the core planning of Town Center.

Mr. I:egcs advised the center corridor of Town Center will need to take into consideration City
Hall, but also the fitness center and cinema and how everything will tie together. He explained
early in the development of the concept of Town Center, the developers of Twinsville
approached Ramsey Town Center, LLC. They collaborated to understand the experience and
connectivity, and how these areas would tie together. As this comes through Ramsey Town
Center, I,LC is excited to work with all of the components and to refine the master plan.

Councihnember Elvig noted it looks like this firm does a lot of urban planning, which is good.
However, they have a lot of projects listed that have never been built. He is familiar with
Ankcny Keil, which is an extremely highly regarded architect. He noted there are a couple of
good choices to consider.

MAYOR AND COUNCIL

None.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adjourn the
meeting.

Motion carried.

The Work Session of the City Council adjourned at 6:55 p.m.

Rcspcctfiflly submitted,

.lo,Ann M.
