Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to introduce an ordinance <br />to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in Alpine Woods subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Olson, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Approval of Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor, On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor, Off- <br />Sale 3.2 Liquor and Sunday Sales, and Wine <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted the applications for liquor license renewals. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey inquired why there are establishments that did not get their paperwork in <br />on time. <br /> <br />Police Chief Way replied as of last Friday all of the paperwork has been turned in. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to approve Off-Sale <br />Intoxicating Liquor License renewals for Rum River Wine & Spirits, M & L Country Liquors, <br />Wiser Choice Liquors, MGM Wine & Spirits, and T & T Liquors for the 2005 - 2006 license <br />year, and to approve On-Sale Intoxicating and 3.2 and Sunday, and Wine Liquor License <br />renewals for Diamonds Sports Bar & Grill, the Links at Northfork, McDuff's Eatery & Pub, <br />Spectators, Mansetti's Pizza & Pasta, JR's Outpost, Super Bowl, and Chips Pizza for the 2005 - <br />2006 license year. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mayor Gamec asked if the City is still conducting checks to determine <br />whether establishments are selling to minors. Police Chief Way responded in the affirmative. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Elvig, Cook, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor License Renewal <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted the applications for 3.2 percent malt liquor license renewals. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to approve 3.2 <br />percent malt liquor license renewals for Bill's Superette, SuperAmerica #4508, Sunfish Express, <br />and Oasis market for the 2005 - 2006 license year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Strommen, Cook, Jeffrey, <br />Olson, and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Elvig asked if the City is conducting checks to determine <br />whether these establishments are selling to minors. Police Chief Way responded in the <br />affirmative and explained liquor compliance checks are done on all establishments that sell <br />alcohol.
