CITY COUNCIL <br />DBA BOARD OF REVIEW <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />q'he Ramsey City Council conducted the annual Board of Review on Monday, April 25, 2005, at <br />Ramsey Fire Station No. 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Mcmbers Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />David Elvig <br />David Jeffrey <br />Mary Jo Olson <br /> <br />Als() Present: <br /> <br />John Leone, Anoka County Assessing - Commercial <br />Peggy Wedan, Anoka County Assessing - Residential <br />Nancy Thompson, Anoka County Assessing - Residential <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />John l,cone, Anoka County Assessing, stated that Florence Kahlstorf (PIN 27-32-25-33-0011) is <br />present and disagrees with the market value on her property. She would like to keep her options <br />opcn for the County Board. Mr. Leone stated the Assessing Department is reviewing it and if <br />needed, they will take it to the County Board. The Department will be looking at past sales. The <br />property is a vacant lot in the Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Ben Deemer, 14501 Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW (PIN 26-32-25-23-0028 & 0029). <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the City has tried to get this combined as one. <br /> <br />Mr. Deemer stated it is one, but the tax department put two numbers on it. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated this was a lot split and it ended up two parcels with two PIN's. <br /> <br />Mr. Deemer stated they have created a parcel for tax purposes - it has no value. The City should <br />makc it an outlot - it cannot be built on. This parcel goes up to a higher rate than residential <br />parcels. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reiterated that it is an unbuildable lot. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook stated it sounds like Mr. Deemer is getting charged for lakeshore property. <br /> <br />Board of Review - April 25, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
