Td'Associates Printing - Building Expansion <br />d~l? 1, 2005 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />The only additional impervious surface added by this expansion is 10,320 square feet of building <br />since the parking lot to serve this addition has already been constructed. <br /> <br />Staff has the following concerns relative to the submitted grading plan: <br /> <br />1. The existing storm sewer plan is not complete. There is a flanged end section' which <br /> drains the existing open field (proposed to be the southwest corner of the building <br /> addition) to the existing catch basin located in the southwest comer of the parking .lot.' <br />2. Scuppers from the roof of the building addition are proposed to discharge onto the west <br /> side of the building down a 4:1 slope, and onto the adjacent property. There is little <br /> topographic information for the adjacent property; however, it appears from a site visit <br /> that this drainage could be problematic. <br /> <br />REU Number: The Residential Equivalent Unit (REU) will determine the amount this <br />development will pay to the City's storm water utilities. This number is based upon the amount <br />of impervious area of the site and may be adjusted accordingly if the expansion is approved. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission will be meeting at 7:00 p.m. '~)n Thursday, July 7, 2005 at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station, 15050 Armstrong Blvd., to review the proposed site 'plan.
