Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-07-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RAMSEY TOWN CENTER CORE AREA <br />FITNESS CENTER MASTERPLAN DESIGN SERVICES CONTRACT WITH <br />D JR ARCHITECTURE, INC IN THE AMOUNT OF $69,100 WITH A <br />TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE COUNCIL CONTENGENCY TO THE <br />BUDGET OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $69,100 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the Ramsey Town Center Core area development, a <br />fitness/community center facility is to be constructed: and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, D JR Architecture, Inc. has submitted a two-phase proposal <br />outlining a predevelopment and a core area master site plan phase for the fitness center <br />project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The total fee for the two-phases as outlined in the proposed contract <br />would total $69,100; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Funding for the fitness/community center project contract would be <br />obtained with a transfer from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of Community <br />Development in the amount of $69,100. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Fitness/Community Center <br /> design services contract with D JR Architecture, Inc. in the amount of $69,100 <br /> with funding from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of Community <br /> Development in the amount of $69,100. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12th day of July, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />
