Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTINUATION OF CONSULTING <br />SERVICES WITH THE TINKLENBBERG GROUP REGARDING THE <br />RAMSEY TH10 ACCESS MANAGEMENT PROJECT WITH THE MONTHLY <br />FEE BASED ON ACTUAL BILLABLE TIME AT THE RATE OF $200/HR FOR <br />A PERIOD OF TWELVE MONTHS WITH A TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM <br />THE COUNCIL CONTENGENCY TO THE BUDGET OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City has used The Tinklenberg Group as a transportation <br />consultant since 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Tinklenberg Group is asking for a $6,000 per month retainer, <br />lbr a period of 12 months, regarding the Highway 10 Access transportation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City recommends amendment to the terms and have contract <br />based on actual monthly billable time for the period beginning May 2005 and set to end <br />April 2006; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Funding for the Tinklenberg contract would be funded from the <br />current 2005 budget of the Community development department in the amount of <br />$28,000, up to $20,000 from the Council Contingency fund to the budget of Community <br />Development and 2006 expenses offset with the proposed 2006 General Fund Budget of <br />Community Development. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the continuation of the Ramsey <br />TH 10 Access Management Project with The Tinklenberg Group with the monthly <br />fee based on actual hours worked at the rate of $200/hr for a period of 12 months <br />with the contract having commenced May 2005 with funding from the 2005 & <br />2006 General Fund budgets of Community Development in the amounts of <br />$28,000 and as budgeted, respectively, with the remainder of up to $20,000 <br />requiring a transfer from the 2005 Council Contingency Fund to the budget of <br />Community Development. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br /> <br />
