We have not been involved in the original design discussions and therefore we will have to be brought up to speed. There will be products toreview and ideas toclarify, tocome toagreement onthe final design, which could impact the pricing. VVewill gladly share all estimates and costs with you throughout the process. 2) $1000 Engineering allowance included for calculations for sunshade, siding and stone veneer. 3) VVeanticipate the existing conceptual drawings included inthe City RFPare sufficient toacquire building permits and complete construction, with some minor modifications. These modifications will bedone bvAmerican Liberty Construction. Consent of the Architect is required to be obtained by the City of Ramsey to use the plans and make modifications. Additional details will be provided by American Liberty Construction as attachments to the Architects plans. Noother Architect certification isincluded inour proposal. 4) Does not include grass orsod restoration after construction. 5) Stone veneer per Boulder Creek Stone Products. Substitutions ofequal price can bemade. See attached selection guide. G) Prefabricated aluminum Sun / Shade Screen "SA" style by Industrial Louver. Screen is painted with one of61standard colors. The typical wall section shows aclosed canopy which would require structure, roofing, soffit, flashing, etc, would add snow loading to the building wall and complicate the overall design. Possible cost savings can bereviewed ifneeded for the "wall section overhang" vs. the Industrial Louver Sun / Shade Screen. 7) Our lumber supplier could not find any Y4" cedar plywood that is suitable for use in an exterior application. They did come up with a 5/8" panel of Okourne plywood that has similar properties to cedar and is made for exterior siding. |twill gray out over time. This material will need tobe approved prior to acceptance of this proposal, or the alternate Thermory siding and cost approved. 8) An alternate for Thermory Wood Siding which is 1 x 4 Ash, temperature treated for exterior use is provided along with some literature. This is a very attractive product for the price upgrade. 9) Windows are bronze orclear anondized frame with gray tinted glass. Samples will be reviewed for density and color selection. lO) Painting of hollow metal doors on the exterior side to match windows and sun shade is included. Painting pipes and other misc. items pro1rudingthru the siding is included. Siding is natural wood and isnot finished. 11) Electric lights and outlets are extended to the outside face of the new siding. ALTERNATE PRICING FOR THERIVIORY ASH SIDING: ADD $15000.00
