E <br />LOYEE: Any employee <br />2.11 REGULAR FULLTIMB eel ohoursPpereek. Thisemployee is eligible for vacation <br />ly <br />scheduled work <br />time, sick leave, holiday pay and health and life insurance coverage, <br />REGULAR PART-TIME EMPLOYEE: Any employee working a regularly <br />scheduled work week, averaging at least 14 hours per week. This employee is <br />eligible for holiday pay, and vacation and sick leave based on the number of hours <br />worked during any given pay period. This employee is not eligible for health and <br />life insurance. <br />TEMPORARY FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE: Any non -student employee working a <br />regularly scheduled work week of 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 640 <br />hoir in a calendar year. This employee is not eligible for vacation time, sick leave, <br />holiday pay or health and life insurance. Students may work up to 100 days per <br />calendar year and still be considered temporary employees. <br />TBMPORARY PART-TIME EMPLOYEE: Any non -student employee working <br />on an on-callbasis up to amaximum of 640 hours per calendar year. This employee <br />banks no vacation time, sick Leave, or holiday pay, and is not eligible for health and <br />life insurance. <br />TEMPORARY FULL-TIME AND/OR TEMPORARY PART-TIME DUES <br />PAYING EMPLOYEE: Any employee working as temporary maintenance worker <br />for up to a maximum of 180 calendar days between April ] and October 31 each <br />year. Employees who are scheduled to work up to a maximum of 180 days in a <br />calendar year will be subject to paying union does beginning the first day of their <br />employment. Any temporary full4ime and/or part -rime dues paying employee is <br />not eligible for vacation time, sick leave, holiday pay, health insuranoe, life <br />insurance or any other fringe benefit. Said employees will be paid at a rate of 80% <br />of step one of the maintenance worker wage scale and will not be eligible for step <br />changes. <br />At the time of initial employment, transfer or reemployment, the EMPLOYER shall <br />identify the status of the vacancy to be filled as either regular full-tiine, temporary <br />full-time, regular part4ime or temporary part-time. <br />ARTICLE 3 RECOGNITION <br />3.1 The EMPLOYER recognizes the UNION as the exclusive representative under <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 179A.03, Subdivision 8 in an appropriate bargaining <br />unit as identified by the Bureau of Mediation Services, Certification of Exclusive <br />Representative dated April 1, 1985, Case No. 854'R569A, (clarified per BMS <br />case No. 87pr6l2, order dated May 19, 1987). <br />All EMPLOYEES of the City of Ramsey, Ramsey, Minnesota, who are public <br />EMPLOYEES within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes 179A.03, Subdivision 14, <br />excluding supervisory, confidential, professional and essential EMPLOYEES. <br />
