<br /> WHEREAS, the Property Owner has not been compliant with Staff requests for <br />inspections and has not been making continued progress of the cleanup required onsite. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Property Owner paid for the administrative citation via mail on April 8, <br />2021, but no further contact has been established. <br /> <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> <br />1. The City inspected the property from the road on: <br /> <br />a. January 15, 2021; and <br />b. March 2, 2021. <br /> <br />2. The City sent formal notices via US Mail on: <br /> <br />a. January 15, 2021 for a first notice of violation requesting the reduction in the <br />number of motor vehicles, application of a fence permit for the fence onsite, and <br />removal or storage of items being stored outside. The notice cited City Code <br />requesting a limit of six (6) vehicles, that all vehicles be parked on an improved <br />surface, and that no more than one (1) inoperable vehicles were allowed on the <br />property. <br />b. March 2, 2021 for a first notice of violation requesting the reduction in the <br />number of motor vehicles, application of a fence permit for the fence onsite, and <br />removal or storage of items being stored outside. The notice cited City Code <br />requesting a limit of six (6) vehicles, that all vehicles be parked on an improved <br />surface, and that no more than one (1) inoperable vehicles were allowed on the <br />property. An administrative citation of $75 was included. <br /> <br />, <br />3. The City received payment for the administrative citation on April 8 2021 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of the proposed code enforcement <br />action plan on the Subject Property as outlined below, contingent upon verification of any <br />violation(s) of City Code: <br /> <br />a. The City of Ramsey shall utilize Northstar Towing and Reshetar Systems Inc. for <br />abatement services per City policy. <br /> <br />b. That the week of May 17, 2021, the City of Ramsey will work with the abatement <br />contractors listed above to remove the fence, construction materials, and other <br />nuisance items stored outside that are not being put to their intended use. <br /> <br />c. That the week of May 31, 2021, the City of Ramsey will work with abatement <br />contractors listed above to tow vehicles from the Subject Property until six (6) remain. <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution #21-098 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />
