City staffhas also had contact With Jay and Cindy Pugh who <br /> th <br />live at 5518 144 Court. City staff has visited the site several times and has met with the homeowners and <br />a representative of Shade Tree Construction regarding this drainage issue. Staffhas also researched the <br />documents on file at the city regarding this project. <br /> <br />History <br /> <br />The city has on file an approved g-rading plan and a Fading as-built plan for this development. A tree <br />preservation ordinance was enacted during gading of this project and several sig-nificant trees were <br />preserved on the site, including trees on near the back lines of lots 23 and 24. The base of the trees on lot <br />24 are 2 feet lower than plan ~ades while the trees on lot 23 are 3 feet higher than plan gades. A rock <br />retaining wall was constructed around the trees on lot 23. This wall encompasses a section of the <br />drainage and utility easement. The eastern portion of lot 23 and the western portion of lot 24 drain to the <br />low area around the trees on lot 24, Copies of this area of the g-fading plan, as-built grading plan and <br />certificates of survey for lots 23 and 24 are enclosed for reference, <br /> <br /> <br />
