APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Addition of Presentation by Ramsey Town Center. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lehman, seconded by Commissioner Pontius, to approve the Park and <br />Recreation Commission meeting agenda for the meeting dated June 9, 2005 as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Lehman, Pontius, LaMere, and <br />Shryock. Voting No: None. Absent: Olds, Ostrum. <br /> <br />APPROVE MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaMere, seconded by Commissioner Shryock, to approve the <br />following Park and Recreation Commission Regular Meeting Minutes: <br /> <br />l ) Park and Recreation Commission Regular Meeting Minutes dated May 12, 2005. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns, Commissioners LaMere, Shryock, Lehman, <br />Absent: Olds, Ostrum. <br /> <br />Case #1: Presentation by Ramsey Town Center <br /> <br />Mr. Bruce Jacobs and Mr. Greg Voss made a presentation to the Commission and Council <br />regarding Ramsey Town Center. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood thought it was a good idea to have a trail to the extreme <br />east side of the park because it invites the residents into the park. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns stated her biggest concern for the park is to make sure there is adequate room <br />for the swimming pond and everything else that was initially proposed. <br /> <br />Mr. Jacobs stated there would still be room in the park for everything. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood thought the sliding hill will relate to the grading of Town <br />Center. <br /> <br />Mr. Jacobs stated there will still be a sliding hill in the park. <br /> <br />Mr. Jacobs wondered if they have been given the go ahead on the amphitheater. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II Linton stated he did not hear from the City Attorney regarding this. He thought <br />they would need to publicly bid this project out because it is a City project. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock asked where the pedestrian bridges will go in the park. <br /> <br /> Park and Recreation Commission/June 9, 2005 <br /> Page 2 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
