In addition, the same consideration would need to be allowed to others that make this <br />request. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was to authorize staff to continue working with the developer on <br />thc indemnification agreement. <br /> <br />Councilmcmber Elvig expressed concern with the elevations in the l0th Addition and the <br />p()ssibili ty of a barricade type look. <br /> <br />Greg Voss, representative of RTC, stated there are between five and nine builders that will be <br />involved in the project. The plan that has been depicted is representative of the style of <br />townhomcs that may be built, but each builder will come to the City for building permits. <br />Regarding the utilities and the early start on construction, in order to meet building code a <br />durable access is needed for emergency vehicles. That road was substantially completed this <br />a£temoon. The objective of RTC is to have the municipal utilities connected by the time of the <br />l'aradc of Homes. He can assure the Council there will be an operable fire hydrant on the site. <br />WI'C will not be asking for occupancy permits for the Parade of Homes. <br /> <br />Councihnember Elvig noted an operable fire hydrant on the site would address the concerns <br />regarding a precedent being set. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt Resolution <br />#05-06-193 to approve the preliminary plat of Ramsey Town Center 8th Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, councilmembers Elvig, Pearson, Cook, Olson, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberJeffrey. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to approve the <br />preliminary site plan of Ramsey Town Center 8th Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
