Subd. Mit Specific Trades Licensed. <br />cvcry person engaging in the following businesses or <br />applicable Section of the Code of the City: <br /> <br />Licenses shall be obtained by <br />work in accordance with the <br /> <br />ao <br /> <br />General contractors in the business of building construction. <br />Exempted from this general contractor licensing requirement shall be <br />any individual who applies to the City for a permit to build a home <br />to be occupied by themselves. However, if the same individual <br />makes another application to build another home to be occupied by <br />themselves within two years from the date of the first building <br />permit application, a general contracting license shall then be <br />required for any structure built within the two year period; <br /> <br />c~ Heat~ng~:ai.r;i,~0gO~iti~,.n~gg~ ventilation and refrigeration; <br /> <br />e~ <br /> <br />Sewer and water connections between street connection and property <br />line; <br /> <br />Water supply system installation and construction; <br /> <br />Excavations, including excavation for footings, basements, grading <br />of lots, sewer and water line installation, etc.; <br /> <br />Cement contractors and block layers. Nothing here shall be <br />construed as preventing any such qualified licensee from performing <br />the work by an employee under their supervision and control, or by <br />contract with another person qualified to perform the same, provided <br />the contractor is subject to the control of the licensee and the <br />licensee is at all times responsible for the work performed. <br /> <br /> <br />
