7.03 Contractors <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Construction. It is deemed in the interest of the <br />public and the residents of the City that the work involved in building alteration and <br />construction and the installation of various appliances and service facilities in and for <br />said buildings be done only by individuals, firms and corporations that have <br />demonstrated or submitted evidence of their competency to perform such work in <br />accordance with the applicable sections of the Code of the City regulating same. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. Contractor's Licensed. The permits which the ~ <br />~fi~[~ ~ is authorized to issue under the Code of the City shall be issued <br />only to individuals, firms, or corporations holding a license by the City for work to be <br />performed under the permit, except as hereinafter noted. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. Requirements.
