City Staff has been made aware of an off-street parking violation and <br />nuisance violations on the property. This includes vehicles not being parked on proper surfacing, <br />inoperable vehicles being present on the property, and noxious growth of grass on the property <br />related to the following sections of City Code: <br />- City Code Section 117-117 — E-1 Employment District <br />o Off-street parking areas, driveways, traffic maneuvering areas, open and outdoor <br />storage areas, open and outdoor service, sales, display or rental areas shall be <br />surfaced with concrete or blacktop and finished with continuous concrete curbing. <br />- City Code Section 30-3 — Nuisance <br />o Off-street parking is considered a public nuisance within the City of Ramsey. <br />o The accumulation of waste or refuse is considered a nuisance within the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />o The number of inoperable vehicles on the property is considered a nuisance <br />within the City of Ramsey. <br />As part of the code enforcement for the property in 2019, a resolution was passed by the City <br />Council enforcing an action planned for unresolved violations. The plan included a contingency <br />of gravel parking installation to park on gravel, and requiring a zoning permit to do so. Vehicles <br />are still being parked on dirt and/or grass which is a violation of City Code. <br />Since the violations have continued on the property, a zoning citation of $75 is attached.
