STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />Code Enforcement Unit <br />administrative citation of $250 and the City will discuss abatement at the July 27t" City <br />Council regular meeting —unpaid citations will be assessed to your property taxes): <br />• Move any and all vehicles that are not on an approved parking surface to an approved <br />parking surface (bituminous paving, concrete, or class V gravel as approved by the <br />attached Resolution #19-253 —please note that a zoning permit is required for any gravel <br />installation). <br />• Remove any and all inoperable vehicles from the property — City Code Chapter 30 <br />defines inoperable vehicles as: <br />(1) The vehicle must be able to be driven or propelled under its own power upon <br />demand in its existing condition; and <br />(2) The vehicle must be able to be driven or propelled under its own power in a safe <br />manner and not be wrecked, junked, or dismantled at the time of inspection <br />and/or abatement; and <br />(3) The vehicle must have current license plates and tabs; and <br />(4) The vehicle must have current proof of liability insurance, as required by state <br />law. <br />• Remove any and all trash and refuse form the property. This includes wooden fencing, <br />any pallets, tarps, or any other unused junk from the property. <br />• Maintain the grass/weeds on the property. <br />If unresolved, the City will plan to abate the following items from the property, as noted in the <br />photos below: <br />1. All inoperable vehicles as defined by Chapter 30 of City Code — Staff will verify on site <br />which vehicles are inoperable —violation of Chapter 30-3 (25): <br />a. Light blue Beetle <br />b. White Beetle <br />c. Brown Volkswagen Van <br />d. Green Volkswagen Van <br />e. Purple and white <br />2. Any public nuisance items as regulated by Chapter 30 of City Code: <br />a. Broken fencing and unused construction materials —violation of Chapter 30-3 (6) <br />b. Mowing of the property —violation of Chapter 30-3 (10) <br />The Ramsey Planning Division will discuss abatement of the property at the City Council's regular <br />meeting on July 27th, 2021. If the City Council moves to abate the property, a separate abatement <br />notification will be sent to you. Please contact me at (763) 433-9860 if you have any questions or <br />concerns.
