WltEREAS, all three of the development scenarios for the comprehensive plan amendment reviewed by the Planning Commission and City Council on January 4, 2005 rellccted thc proposed plat of Brookfield Addition being developed with urban services; and WltEREAS, the comprehensive plan amendment request meets the criteria established in thc Interim Policy for Proposed Land Use Changes adopted by the Ramsey City Council on April 26, 2005; and WltEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on June 2, 2005, conducted a public hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the Property Owner's request lbr an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TItE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change ol'thc Subject Property fi'om Rural Developing to Low Density Residential. 2) That thc Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary docmncntation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. 3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of notification of' approval from Metropolitan Council.
