WltEREAS, all three of the development scenarios for the comprehensive plan <br />amendment reviewed by the Planning Commission and City Council on January 4, 2005 <br />rellccted thc proposed plat of Brookfield Addition being developed with urban services; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the comprehensive plan amendment request meets the criteria established <br />in thc Interim Policy for Proposed Land Use Changes adopted by the Ramsey City Council on <br />April 26, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on June 2, 2005, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the Property Owner's request <br />lbr an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TItE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change <br />ol'thc Subject Property fi'om Rural Developing to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br />2) That thc Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary <br /> docmncntation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan <br /> to change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br />3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of <br /> notification of' approval from Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion lbr the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councihnember Pearson <br />Councihnember Olson <br />Councihnember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />(;ouncihnember Strommen <br /> <br />and thc lbllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />N()Iic <br /> <br />and thc Ibllowing abstained: <br /> <br />NOlle <br /> <br />and thc [bl lowing were absent: <br /> <br />(',otmcilmember Jeffrey <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-06-190 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
