· R. eeommendation: <br /> <br />Staff is recommending approval of the request based on the following: <br /> The size of the proposed building is the equivalent of extending the width of the existing <br /> pole building fourteen (14) feet, which does not seem disproportionate for the property. <br /> · The large parcel of land to the south is cropland and there is significant tree cover <br /> screening the location from both the property to the east and to the south (if that land <br /> were ever developed). <br /> · The proposed building would replace an existing metal-paneled pole building, which <br /> should enhance the aesthetics of the property. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Ivlotion to recommend that the City Council adopt findings of fact relating to Keith Schmidt's <br />request for a conditional use permit for an oversized accessory building. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that City Council approve Keith Schmidt's request for an oversized <br />accessory building based on the f'mdings of fact, and adopt a resolution declaring terms of same. <br /> <br />-or- <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that City Council deny Keith Schmidt's request for a conditional use <br />permit for an oversized accessory building, based on the findings of fact. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />Asst.
