recommended that the final payment be made from the Park Trust Fund and that the City transfer <br />the $85,000 to the Landfill Trust Fund as reimbursement for the final payment of Elmcrest Park. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to recommend <br />that the City Council transfer $85,000 from the Park Trust Fund to the Landfill Trust Fund as <br />reimbursement for the final payment of Elmcrest Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Connolly. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that he was under the understanding that Community Park #5 <br />would not be developed in the near future. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied that they plan to do some survey work next year, but will <br />not be developing the park in the near future. He explained that the Park Commissions C.I.P will <br />be presented at the next Finance Committee meeting. <br /> <br />The Council discussed several park issues including lighting additional fields and adding field goal <br />posts. Staff was directed to schedule a work session with the Park Commission and athletic <br />associations to discuss any park issues and review the C.I.P. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
