Councihnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT (EIS) FOR SWEETBAY RIDGE <br />DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Oakwood Land Development, hereinafter referred to as "Developer", is <br />proposing to develop the Sweetbay Ridge Development within the City of Ramsey, hereinafter <br />ret'erred to as "City", that is attached to this document; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, under 4410.4300(19)(c) of the State of Minnesota Rules, the subdivision <br />proposed by the Developer is required to have an EAW prepared; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for the purposes df conducting the EAW, the City is the Responsible <br />(;ovcrnmental Unit ("RGU"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 4410.1500 of Minnesota Rules requires the RGU to prepare a draft <br />document and distribute it to various governmental agencies and the general public; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Minnesota Rules Chapter 4410, the City Of Ramsey has <br />completed the public comment period for the Sweetbay Ridge Development and, <br /> <br /> WllEREAS, the mandatory EAW was sent to the following agencies for review and <br />conlmcnt: <br /> <br />U.S. Army Corps of Engineers <br />U.S. Environmental Protection Agency <br />U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services <br />Board of Water and Soil Resources <br />Minnesota Department of Agriculture <br />Minnesota Department of Health <br />Minnesota Department of Natural Resources <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />Minnesota Environmental Quality Board <br />Minnesota Historical Society <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br />Metropolitan Council <br />Anoka County and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a notice of the mandatory EAW was published in the EQB Monitor on <br />June 20, 2005, and copies of the document were placed in the Technology and Science Library, <br />the Legisl ative Reference Library and the Anoka County Library-Rum River branch and, <br /> <br /> <br />
