CASE # <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENTERING INTO A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT TO <br />DEVELOP A HIGHWAY 10 ACCESS MANAGEMENT PLAN <br /> By: Steven Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Although the Highway 10 corridor will eventually transition to a freeway, it is necessary <br />to develop an access management plan to facilitate development along the corridor to <br />facilitate development through the interim period. Attached to this case is a proposed <br />Joint Powers Agreement between the City and Anoka County for the preparation of an <br />access management plan for TH 10 within the City. The estimated cost of this work is <br />$250,000 of which $200,000 is being provided by a federal appropriations grant to the <br />City. Thc remaining $50,000 will be shared equally by the City and Anoka County.
