PC# ~ <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO BEGIN THE RECRUITMENT <br />PROCESS FOR A PARKS LEAD PERSON <br /> <br />By: Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On December 14, 2004 the City Council approved a resolution creating a Utilities <br />Division within the Public Works Department by moving two Maintenance Workers <br />fi'om their current division(s) to the newly created Utilities Division. As a result of this <br />reorganization, Parks Lead, Mr. John Nelson, was appointed to the Utilities Lead <br />position. At this time staff is requesting authorization to fill the Parks Lead position left <br />vacant by Mr. Nelson. <br /> <br />Staft Recom m endation <br /> <br />StM'f recommends that the City Council grant authorization to begin the recruitment <br />process fora Parks Lead. <br /> <br />Committee Action <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council grant authorization to begin the recruitment <br />process lbr a Parks Lead. <br /> <br />I'C 08-09-05 <br /> <br /> <br />
