(;ouncihnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF <br /> PAID ON-CALL FIRE FIGHTERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, earlier this year the City Council authorized staff to begin the recruitment <br />process tbs' paid on-call fire fighters; and <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, a recruitment process was completed as authorized; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that the following candidates be appointed to paid on-call <br />fire fighter positions: Doug Olejnicak, John Atchison, Robert Moser, Kirk Hughes, Kelly Miller, <br />and Christopher Hanson. <br /> <br />NOW TIII';REFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />'!'hat tile City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to authorize hiring the following individuals for paid on-call fire <br />fighter positions on the start dates indicated: <br /> <br />Douglas Olejnicak <br />John Atchison <br />Robert Moser <br />Kirk Hughes <br />Kelly Miller <br />Christopher Hanson <br /> <br />July 20, 2005 <br />July 20, 2005 <br />July 20, 2005 <br />July 20, 2005 <br />July 20, 2005 <br />August 10, 2005 <br /> <br />Thc motion For the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and tile following abstained: <br /> <br />and tile following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 9th day of August 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />
