PC CASE <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR PAID ON-CALL FIRE FIGHTERS <br /> <br />Givonna Reed, Interim Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In early 2004 the City conducted a recruitment process for paid on-call fire fighters. On <br />July 14, 2004 Derek Dodds, Jeff Erickson, Brad Jorgensen and Kim Suchy began <br />employment with the City as paid on-call fire fighters. These individuals have <br />successfully completed their one-year probationary period including all necessary <br />training. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the one-year probationary period, staff recommends <br />that thc following individuals be retained as paid on-call fire fighters effective <br />.luly 26, 2005: Derek Dodds, Jeff Erickson, Brad Jorgensen and Kim Suchy. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council a adopt resolution ending the probationary <br />period and granting status as paid on-call fire fighters effective July 26, 2005 to Derek <br />Dodds, Jeff });rickson, Brad Jorgensen and Kim Suchy. <br /> <br /> <br />
