They live
on 2 ½ acres and would like to keep a couple of chickens. For the past two years her daughter
has kept a small flock of chickens in the back yard. The chickens are fenced in and have a 20
foot by 80 foot chicken run. She explained she and Diana are here because they received a
complaint about the roosters crowing early in the morning, which is their fault for having left the
coop door open. This has been rectified by leaving the rooster locked up.

l)iana Sohns, 17958 Fluorine Street NW, stated the chickens do not take up much space and do
not go thr from the coop. She wants to enter the rooster into the County Fair.

City Council / July 12, 2005
