Club. Staff attempted to notify property owners within ;700 fee~ <br />of the subject property. <br /> <br />Observations: ' ~ <br /> <br />Oakwood Land Development is proposing to create 158 urban single-£amily lots on 102 acres <br />generally known as the St. Anthony .Gun Club, located on the east side of Variolite Street. <br />Access from this development is provided onto Vafiolite Street'at three locations: 163~ Avenue; <br />t61st Avenue, and 159th AVenue. Provisions have been made within the plat for future street <br />extensions into adjacent properties. ~ <br /> <br />The .develgpment of the property .with municipal water and sanitary sewer required 'a <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment to change the land use fi:om Rural Reserve to Low Density <br />Residential. On March 22, 2005, the City Council approved the amendment to the. <br />Comprehensive Plan.. The amendment was forwarded to the Metropolitan Council for approval. <br />On June 29, 2005, the Metropolitan Council took final action and approved the amendment to the <br />comprehensive Plan. The property is now in the R-1 Metropolitan Urban Service Area <br />(MUSA) ..... <br /> <br /> <br />
