(Courtesy City of Ramsey) <br />Sotarra's plans for 275 homes under review in Ramsey <br />By: Brian Johnson October 4, 2021 4:11 pm <br />St. Louis Park -based developer Sotarra wants to bring hundreds of new roofs to Ramsey as part of a residential <br />development that would be among the biggest in the city. <br />The city is doing an environmental review of the Trott Brook Crossing project, which calls for up to 275 new single-family <br />homes on a 200.5-acre site. Largely farm and wetland property, the site is south of 175th Avenue, east of Variolite Street <br />and west of Nowthen Boulevard. <br />"This will be one of the larger developments for this city," Chloe McGuire, Ramsey senior planner, said Monday. <br />Construction could begin in April and play out in phases over seven years, according to a newly released environmental <br />assessment worksheet. But first, the project is up for preliminary plat review at the city's Oct. 28 Planning Commission <br />meeting. <br />1 <br />
