So far this year, the city has permitted 144 new housing units, up from 115 units during the same period in 2020, according to the Keystone Report, which tracks homebuilding permits in the 13-county area. Meanwhile, Sotarra has plans for an even bigger development in Maple Grove. In September, Finance & Commerce reporter that Sotarra envisions 227 new single-family houses and 154 new townhomes as part of the Evanswood Development.
