Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of l)ublic Works Dean Kapler <br /> <br />CALL TO ()RI)El/ <br /> <br />Mayor (iamcc called thc City Council Work Session to order at 5:56 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE A(;ENI)A <br /> <br />'l'hc agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COIJNCII, T()PICS FOIl DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1 ) Recreational Vehicles <br /> <br />Police Chicl' Way reviewed that at the July 26, 2005 Council meeting, questions were raised in a <br />lcttcr from Anoka Sports Center rcgarding the Recreational Vehicle ordinance. In an attempt to <br />answer thc concerns raised by John Noard's letter, staff contacted Mr. Noard, along with Pro <br />Sporting Goods owner Matt Kukcr. Mr. Kuker indicated he presently tests vehicles directly <br />adjacent to his business. If that land were to be sold, he would not have a location to test drive <br />machines. Thc mechanics are required to wear a helmet when test driving the vehicles. Staff <br />proposes the following change to thc ordinance: <br /> <br />6.04.07: Test Driving.
