Park Shelter will be ready for use in Spring of 2006. She advised staff recommends <br />authorization of plans and specifications and bidding for the new Park Shelter at Central Park. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Kapler introduced representatives of the Ramsey Lions. He expressed <br />appreciation tbr the Ramsey Lions donations to the City for many projects. He stated this has <br />been an enjoyable process and they will all be pleased with the product in the end. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to approve Resolution <br />#05-08-253 Authorizing Plans and Specifications and Bidding for the new Park Shelter at <br />Central Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Olson, Pearson, and <br />Strommcn. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberJeffrey. <br /> <br />Case/44: Adopt Ordinance to Amend the Licensing and Permits Section of City Code <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon reviewed that at the July 26, 2005 meeting, <br />Council reviewed language to amend the contractors licensing portion of the City Code. <br />Following review, an ordinance was introduced making those language changes. The ordinance <br />is now ready for adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt Ordinance <br />#05-16 amending Section 7.03 (Contractors). <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor (}amcc: aye <br />Councihncmber Cook: aye <br />Councilmember Elvig: aye <br />Councihnember Jeffrey: absent <br />(;ouncilmember Olson: aye <br />Councilmember Pearson: aye <br />Councihnember Strommen: aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of the Lot 1, Block 1, Sunfish Lake <br />Business Park Third Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich explained the City has negotiated a TIF agreement with LH Road, LLC, <br />dba Wildlife Research Center. As part of the transaction the City is to convey title to Lot 1, <br />Block 1, Sunfish Lake Business Park Third Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota to LH Road, <br />l~l,C, dba Wildlife Research Center. On July 26, 2005, the City Council introduced an ordinance <br />to authorize the sale. The ordinance is now ready for adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adopt Ordinance <br />No. 05-18 authorizing the sale of Lot 1, Block 1, Sunfish Lake Business Park Third Addition, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> City Council / August 9, 2005 <br /> Page 8 of 25 <br /> <br /> <br />
