WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey Council believes that the vaccination of individuals <br />should be a personal decision and supports the rights of individuals to choose whether or not they <br />wish to be inoculated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will provide an equal level of service to everyone <br />working, contracting, living and visiting the City of Ramsey, no matter what their inoculation <br />status; and <br />WHEREAS, our employees that choose not be become inoculated will not suffer any <br />discrimination in career progression nor pressure from their fellow coworkers or superiors to <br />become inoculated. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #21-358 that the Ramsey City Council does hereby oppose any <br />governmental mandate requiring a person take a vaccine/shot for Covid-19 and further state that it <br />is their belief that it is in the best interests of our public and our State that the COVID-19 <br />vaccine/shot should be a voluntary personal decision to be made by each individual themselves. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of December, 2021. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Resolution #21-358 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />
