<br />NO RESOLUTION – HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT APPROVED <br /> <br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-212 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING HIRING CONTRACTORS TO ABATE OFF-STREET <br />TH <br />PARKING AND HOME OCCUPATION ITEMS FROM 8351 160 AVENUE NW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property owner Jacob Johnson (the “Property Owner”) has an open <br />th <br />code enforcement case on the property generally known as 8351 160 Avenue NW and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> LOT 3 BLOCK 1 FOREST HIDEAWAY, EX RD SUBJ TO EASE OF REC, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota <br /> <br /> (the “Subject Property”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Subject Property is an owner-occupied property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Subject Property is approximately 1.65 acres in size; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there are documented City Code violations dating back to 2019 with <br />notices of violation regarding outdoor storage, refuse and garbage, off-street parking, and <br />driveway work without a permit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City sent a formal first notice of violation on April 29, 2021 for off- <br />street parking, home occupation, and public nuisances; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey City Code would allow the Subject Property to properly <br />store all items in accordance with Section 117-355 regarding residential off-street parking; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the residential off-street parking in the City Code prohibits the storing of <br />more than six (6) items on the Subject Property in the R-1 Rural Developing zoning district; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey City Code would allow a home occupation in <br />accordance with Section 117-351 regarding home occupations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a second notice of violation and administrative citation were sent on May <br />13, 2021; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Property Owners submitted an incomplete Home Occupation Permit <br />application on June 28, 2021; and <br /> <br /> <br />
