RADIO,~,TPAGERS/TURNOUT GEAR/MAPS <br /> <br />Officer Sharp reviewed the Radios/Pagers/Turnout Gear/Maps report. <br /> <br />· Four new pagers were issued by seniority. There are approximately one <br /> batteries in the supply cabinet. <br /> <br />· One hand held radio has been ordered. <br /> <br />dozen pager <br /> <br />· Four sets of turnout gear have been put into service. <br /> <br />· One set of white turnout gear has been ordered for an officer. <br /> <br />· Eight pairs of bunker pants and 14 coats have been hung up. <br /> <br />· Six pairs of mittens are in Engine #2. <br /> <br />· Flashlights have been given to the two new firefighters, all firefighters have flashlights now. <br /> <br />· Large maps are available at the County. <br /> <br />MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Simpson reviewed the Major Maintenance report. <br /> <br />· Engine #2 will not be able to be sent in for repair and painting until space is available for it at <br /> the shop. <br /> <br />· The air compressor has been serviced. <br /> <br />· The generator is on Engine #1 and the lights are reconnected. <br /> <br />· Engine #2 breaks need to be burnished once the weather permits. <br /> <br />· The City Mechanic will look at Grass Rig #2 to see what work needs to be done. <br /> <br />· Tanker # 1 has a new socket for the indicator lights. <br /> <br />· The radio in the squad car has been rewired. <br /> <br />· Packing on the hose reel on Grass Rig #1 needs repair. <br /> <br />· The air compressor belts are loose. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS/FEBRUARY 4, 2001 <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
